2000

In July of 2000, we had the opportunity to go to New York City. The company that Tommy worked for, CSC, sent him to the MacWorld Conference & Expo. Tommy attended classes there, and Toni got an Expo pass. We flew in on July 15, 2000, and left on July 26, 2000. We stayed at the Crown Plaza on Broadway, right in the middle of Times Square.

While in NYC, we saw the Broadway play Cats, many shows like The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, the Today Show (with the Go Go's performing), Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Live with Regis & Kathie Lee (it was the beginning of her last two weeks), Good Morning America, and many others.

For the first week, while Tommy went to the classes offered at MacWorld, Toni made her way around Manhattan. She took to that city like it was her own. She got to learn the bus routes and subway system very well. She became Tommy's tour guide when he would get back in the evening.

We have the pictures we took for all to enjoy. They are broken down for each day, and are presented in the order that they were taken... except for the MacWorld pictures.
